About us

A calmer, more trustworthy way to read about health

Inner Balance Living is an independent health and wellness publication. We help people live healthier, happier and more balanced lives through evidence-based articles, expert insight and practical guidance you can actually use.

Our story

Inner Balance Living began with a frustration familiar to anyone who has searched a health question at midnight: the internet is loud, contradictory and rarely honest about uncertainty. Our founding editors — a dietitian, a physiotherapist and an internal wellness practitioner — wanted a publication that read like a thoughtful magazine but held itself to the highest standards of wellness guidance.

We write for people making ordinary decisions about food, movement, sleep and stress: someone trying to eat better without a rulebook, someone returning to exercise after injury, someone quietly managing anxiety alongside a full life. Not readers, not clients — readers.

Our vision is simple. Give people the same quality of information a good expert would give a friend: accurate, unhurried, free of hype, and honest about what the evidence does and does not show.

What we value

Eight commitments that shape every commission, edit and correction.

  • Evidence-based

We start with peer-reviewed research and recognised health authorities, not trends or anecdote.

  • Honesty

Where the science is strong we say so. Where it is thin or contested, we say that too.

  • Transparency

Every article names its writer, medical reviewer, sources and last-updated date.

  • Accessibility

Clinical ideas written in plain language, with no jargon left unexplained.

  • Compassion

Health is personal. We write without shame, blame or moralising about bodies.

  • Continuous learning

Guidance changes as evidence changes. Our guides are revisited on a fixed review cycle.

  • Inclusivity

We cover health across ages, genders, cultures, budgets and ability levels.

  • Editorial excellence

Considered reporting, careful editing and design that respects your attention.
